I sincerely do miss the days when you could buy one book and read it from beginning to end for about 12.00 instead of paying thirty bucks to complete one story. With that being said, this series was so engrossing that I did it and the final chapter did wrap up the story nicely. I will say that from now on I will be checking to see if a book is a series before I purchase it from now on. Noire got me first with her books (which was worse because you had to track down and buy about seven tiny booklets) and I got sucked in again. I NEED THE MOVIE I could picture all of the characters in my mind, I read all three books in two weeks, couldn't put it down. !

If I had the money I would call this writer and produce this movie exactly as I read it. It is amazing how she ended this, while I was on the edge of my seat.
OMG what a ending to this series. This book was definitely a page turner and I flew right through it. I have to say that I was hooked .I did not want to put it down because I had to find out about Simone and the rest of the characters. This book picks up where the second part left off with Simone still up to her old conniving ways and doing everything she can to keep her hold on Omari. Little does she know, karma will hit her three times fold and all her secrets will be revealed. As Simone's world begins to unravel so does everyone's else's as each character is put to the test. Read and follow all the characters as they deal with the truth and startling revelations. Will Simone learn the ultimate lesson and realize whether being a side bitch is worth it?? Read and find out because the book does not disappoint. Kudos to the author.
This was a good book that I finished in one day. Disappointed that it was 9.99 but maybe I have become spoiled to the usual low prices of .99-$3.99. I like how the author recapped everything that happened in part 2 in the beginning of part 3 so the story picked up exactly where it left off. I didn't enjoy this installment as much as the others but it was still somewhat entertaining. Parts of the story seemed rushed and missing details and I wish it was Omari that gave Simone what she deserved instead of Jimmy. I would have enjoyed more details of Simone's torture before murder (because she deserved every ounce of pain) and I can see where things with Eboni and Omari are going to lead predictable (and triflin by the way). Some things were a little unbelievable such as Simone fleeing to another state and almost miraculously meeting a very rich man that wanted to marry her in two months. Again predicatable. However, I am more interested in Gia and Chance now. I have really come to enjoy them as main characters and believe what they have is real love. I'm really hoping this series continues to focus on them and their new journey together. All in all a good book, a very good series, and I will be buying part 4... so please hurry Ms. Watkins!
SOASB3 was packed with deception, deceit, suspense, thrills and loads of karma that will reel you in from the 1st page until the very last. Because of the way this storyline is written and properly executed, you will be held hostage while reading this book and finding out how it all ends for Simone and the other characters of this series. Although this is fiction, it definitely holds some truths about the length that some people will go to get/keep a man that they can't have.
SOASB3 perfectly tied up this series and you won't be left with any unanswered questions. JWatkins has a way of weaving words together that make you feel as if you're watching a movie. The storyline is so believable that you will find yourself experiencing every single emotion as if you were transplanted into the book.
All in all this was a great series that will open your eyes to the depths that some people go through to obtain what they want. I love how the series ended and the fact that there weren't any loose strings left from the story. I would definitely recommend this series and say that you will NOT be disappointed. Great job Authoress Watkins!!
This series was surely a page turner. As I finished each book I had to immediately purchase the next. I really enjoyed the storyline and the characters. They were flawed at so many levels but I found myself still routing for Omari and Eboni and Chance. Simone ultimately being the one doing the killing was a nice twist and her ultimately being killed by Jimmy was also a surprise. So the plot was great but the reasons I only rated it a three are as follows The editing was not done very well. I read a lot and this book had the most errors I have ever seen. For example when the word should read "it" it may read "I". Also, while I enjoyed the overall storyline and couldn't put the books down, it seemed unrealistic that Omari was under investigation for Ayesha's death but yet was able to sell drugs the entire time without that ever being an issue. I would have also liked for Omari to know that Simone killed his baby and Tammy. Although it was tough enough for him to know that she killed Ayesha. Finally, why is it necessary in these genre of books to specify the designer clothes and shoes and the types of expensive cars? That is superficial and not necessary, in my opinion, to tell the story.
All in all I would recommend the series to others.
Great Read! That dog on Simone is one crazy heffa. Maybe her and Jimmy should have hooked up from the start so he could half kill people and Simone can go behind him and finish the job. Excellent and entertaining read from start to finish.
